Advantages:
🔹 You can granularly configure memory, CPU and GPU
🔹 You can tune autoscaling parameters
🔹 It has Deep Learning AMIs

Limitations:
🔸 You need to configure and patch it by yourself
🔸 Minimum time to launch the process is 1-2 minutes
🔸 EC2 can be more expensive than alternatives when it is not fully utilized

Use cases:
🔹 Hosting visualization or ML applications, e.g. Databricks, Tableau
🔹 Hosting databases, e.g. HBase
🔹 Self-hosted streaming tools like Apache Kafka
